99 Problems

I Have 99 Problems but my faith ain't one

I think Jay-Z said it first “I got 99 Problems…”, well you know the rest.  I have many situations that arise that many may consider problems, but it is very true that my faith ain’t one.  I could probably break down 99 things that did not go as I had planned or hoped today, but I can name 101 things that did.  First is that I woke up this morning and was given another chance to correct the mistakes of yesterday.


I know that when I rise that is my first blessing of the day and every breath I take until I awake the next was a trillion blessing in between.  As an entrepreneur and business owners you are always striving for more clients, sales and ways to grow your business. There is nothing easy on that journey to financial freedom and you are tasked with solving a myriad of “problems”, but I do no worry or fret as my faith will lead me to my ultimate destination as long as I continue to put in the work.


Each day there are going to be situations that arise in which you can become overwhelmed and want to give up, but I hope you take the stance to fight another day.  There is no solution in worrying or giving up.  I’m not sure who said it, but someone once said that there is no room for both faith and worrying in your head.  I recommend that you kick worry out of that space and let faith reign supreme.  Again, I believe with faith you must put in work for “faith without works is dead.”

In conclusion, there will be obstacles or “problems” that you will most likely face on a daily basis.  Do not let those problems deter you from the bigger picture, you have a destination that is much greater than those 99 problems.  Allow your faith to be bigger than any problem or fear and watch your destiny unfold.  “I Have 99 Problems, But My Faith Ain’t One” T-shirt available on www.grownfolkmotto.com
