turning struggle into strength “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.”-Martin Luther King Jr. As Martin Luther King Day fast approaches on 1/15/2018. There is no better time than today to look at the difficulties we have faced in our past or anticipate the difficulties we will face in our future. “I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.” -Martin Luther King Jr. How do we handle the things have troubled us, caused us confusion, tears, sleepless nights, pain or did not sit right with our soul? When things get hard and uncomfortable, do you give up, throw in the towel and leave it up to fate? Or do you use this moment to change your situation? Do you use the fire within you to find a way, a solution that will improve your future, that will drive you to a brighter tomorrow. The road to success was not meant to be easy, but to challenge you and bring out the best in you. Each one of us have dealt with or will deal with personal struggles. Don't let that struggle break you, instead think of it as that first push-up, jumping jack or burpee. The first one is hard and may even seem impossible but as you persevere each one becomes a little easier. With each one you become stronger and once was a struggle has strengthened you. No one said the road would be easy, but understand you have the tools within you to withstand, persevere and become stronger. Happy Martin Luther King Day! There is a King in you.

Thank you for the inspirational message. I know as for me, sometimes I let things I have no control over get to me instead of accepting it for what it is and move forward and in order to move forward, I must turn my struggles into strength. Thank you and may God continue to bless you.
