God is my problem solver. As an only child, I tend to be an introvert and not very sociable. I spend a lot of time alone, because I do enjoy my own company, but in these moments I find myself talking to God a lot. As Zacardi Cortez sung, I need my “1 on 1” time (check out video). Each one of us faces our own unique challenges, but it's how we choose to deal in these situations that builds our character. Will you wait for the storm to pass or will you dance in the rain? Honestly I can not answer that question without having a conversation with God. Just maybe I was not meant to go out in that particular storm, but that next storm, I will be armed and prepared for. Not only will I dance but I will teach others how to dance in that storm. I have moments when I become worrisome or anxious. In these moments, I take a breath, woosah and turn to God. It is in these moments I redirect myself, I know that my faith is much stronger than my fear. You see the colloquial “faith over fear” everywhere today. But it is so popular because it is the truth. Let your faith be greater than your fear, but I digress. There is not a problem so small or too gigantic that I will not take to God. Whether you meditate or you pray, but have the conversation. Be still and allow yourself to receive it. Don't ignore that inner voice or intuition that we all have. I will admit this has not always been my solution, but I can vehemently say life has been more rewarding since I let God become my problem solver. There will be many people who will give you advice and some of it will be really good, while others you will politely decline from following. One of my favorite quotes is by Tyler Perry “Take God with you everywhere you go, and where you can't take Him, don't go”. I believe this adheres to advice that people give. As our grandmothers and grandfathers will tell you “Pray about it”. There is no problem too small or too large that you cannot take to God. Just have the conversation. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” KJV Proverbs 3:6 LIMITED TIME: God is My Problem Solver T-shirts on SALE for $14.99-$16.99

This is so encouraging! A great reminder to let go and let God. It's so easy to just take control of your own life situations but in the meantime you making a mess of the situations. With God all things are possible! So when things aren't going good and when things are going good. With God all things are possible!!! He's the ultimate problem solver! :)

I have to ask. How do we know if it's time for us now to say "Amen". I am already in my thirties and yet I still can't get myself to use this word involuntarily because I think it can cast some kind of weird spell if uttered at a wrong place and a wrong time. Does it give the same effect of the like button at the end of each text message? That I will never know. I still think it should be used sparingly. It does not always mean you agree with something. Sometimes it gives an impression that you don't want the other person to continue talking.

Amen or "So be it", usually said at the end of every prayer is now riddled with sarcasm. It used to be so sacred. Now kids keep making fun of it. Gone are the days when things like this are kept sacred. I don't think it's a bad thing that people keep making fun of this though. It's great that at a young age they learn to laugh at themselves and not be overly serious. It can save lives.
